Prisoners To Get Varsity – Level Courses

Based on the newspaper  that  publish on New Strait Times on 3 March 2013 , the topic “Prisoners To Get Varsity – Level Courses ” , in my  opinion this is a good  things because although they are prisoners ,they also a human  and have right to pursue study in order to improve their life. It is because every human make a mistake , but from the mistake people will realize about their live . But , due to the community perception that judge the prisoners that already out from the prison is still the same that make the prisoners did not have an oppucunity to improve and fixed their life back .If the community give chance toward the prisoners to fixed their life , the community will know that all their assumption toward the prisoners that already out from the jail is viceversa . I support with what The Prisons Department do to increase the  ex-prisoners competency after their sentence  include the provisions of skill training and university level education .Through this program , it will give  positive impact toward not only to the prisoners but also toward the country . Why I say that so ? It is because the prisoners  average age are  teenagers and the middle age. So, they can contribute their  energy in many field in order to generate the country income and also prevent them not to do bad thing again. Also, according what the newspaper report there have reducing of the number of the repeat prisoners that returning after being release from jail . Beside , from the report it also said that the department earned RM 17 millions from the sale of handcraft made by the prisoners That a good thing to hear. So, we should not judge the person mistake only , but we must accept their changes and support them to change .

                                Hollywood Lie  ?

Hollywood movie  is  getting more  place in the hearts of the audience because of the advance technology that make the story out of imagination and beyond our expectation , the beautiful and handsome actor and actress and also the story itself that commonly taken on true story .But , there also exist the rumors that the producers not always tell the truth even it is based on the true story because for me it not make sense  if the true story is impossible to occurs .For example , the movie called The Possession that  poster depicted a young woman vomiting dozens of butterflies—or were they moths?—into the heavens above her. Do it  make a sense   and how true can a movie that has a woman puking insects everywhere be. Can you think this happen. It is because for me the  actual reality is shaped by people who think deep about it .Also , for me why the director highlighted “Based on true story ”  because it  a bogus marketing gimmick, regulated by nobody, designed to attract an audience that is increasingly obsessed  with nonfictional works. That is not to say you should not go see these movies and enjoy them, if that is your thing. But always go into the theater knowing that pretty much every movie you see is at least partially a lie even documentaries . Usually it is  some obscure movie critic who was paid to say something nice about the movie and then gets his name on television  in the smallest font possible.

JEWEL FOR MOTHER, AND  ORNAMENT TO  PARENTS  .

                

        Child is priceless gift of God to every human kind. Child is like ornament or exciter  in a family  because they are  born by the parent love. But, if the situation the family cannot support their child life and they sell their child  to the rich people , it not because they do not love their child .I agree with that decision because maybe the parents  want their child deserve better life with the better  family  that can provide anything to their child .It is because when the child live with their poor family maybe they  are forced to work in early age in order to survive their live in the real world that getting advance and challenger .It is because life is something beyond our imagination and we did not know what happen in future. So, that why the family give their child to a better family in order to make their child live in better condition. It not because of they do not love their child.

               Another  point is the child will get better education when they  get better family. It is because the cost for further study in university is booming drastically and impossible to the poor family to pay for the fee and also the lifestyle now become more upgrade. When they live with better family they can get pursue their study and also can get better future . But , they also cannot forget to their true family when they be a successful person  because their family make a hard decision on order to make their life better and they not truly give the child in order to get the money because they also have dignity .They make that decisions in other to give their child fell the better life.

                                STEREOTYPING ???

 What is stereotyping ?Stereotype is a popular belief about specific types of individuals. The concepts of "stereotype" and "prejudice" are often puzzled with many other different meanings. Stereotypes are standardized and simplified conceptions of groups based on some prior assumptions. Another name for stereotyping is bias. This stereotyping  is the common things that occur in the Malay people . It cannot be separate with the Malay people .The common stereotype in Malay people is when you see a man that drive a Mercedes-Benz, so from that you immediately assumption say that the man is a rich person , yet you do not know maybe the car was the car belong to his boss. Also, the another common stereotype that familiar is like if a girl wear a flashed length scarf , it  is considered a pious woman. You should not make a drastic assumption because not what you see is a truth thing because people are intelligent play their role in order to make the people give a good assumption toward themselves. So , the morale value here is “ don’t judge a book by its cover ” It is because without know nothing you just make immediate  assumption about the thing that you do not know the truth . God is not judging from the look, external appearance because all is  God's creation. But God sees and evaluate our sub consciousness.

 

                       CRITICAL LITERACY  IS  HAUNTED ???

This year which is 2013 is the year I am going to be semester  4  students ,and  as I have mention from the latest senior that the subject that are taken for this semester is quite tough .Most of them more interested talking about the subject that for them is the  killer subject that is Critical Literacy .It is because for them,  this subject we need to think outside the box and beyond our imagination. Also, the way we thinking require to think critically .That why the subject call Critical Literacy. From that,  I feel a little bit scare because with what  they say about that subject . It keep bothering my mind . So, I make a research about the subject in order to make me more understanding and lead me to think  critically  .  Also  , to dispute what the senior said about this subject .

               Base from my research , according to Wikipedia , Critical Literacy mean is an instructional approach that advocates the adoption of critical perspectives toward text. In addition , Critical literacy also encourages readers to actively analyze texts and peel uncovering underlying messages . When I first became involved in literacy research, I wondered at the body of research and knowledge of this subject because I did not get what this subject want but after I learn deep about this subject I become more understanding about the subject. Beside that , it make me dispute with what the senior perception through this subject . As for me , different people ,different thought or view about the subject. Also, this subject from my view is not that difficult with what the senior say , it just require us  to become more critical in term of thinking .
